Happy Birthday, Spring 2018

Paloma Lind, daughter of playable NPCs Phoebe and Samuel, celebrates her first birthday. Her coloring is from Phoebe but otherwise she looks a lot like her father.

Notes:
  • I don't have any birthdays coming up for Summer 2018 unless someone decides to get pregnant or Danny Cooper flunks out of college.
  • I have updated the playable NPC's page. See link in the sidebar.

  1. I aged her up to adult briefly to see what she'll look like and I can tell you that she will be really stunning.

  2. She's really adorable! I can't wait to see her as an adult.

Your new defaults are so detailed, by the way. Look at that indentation between the nose and the upper lip!

  3. I hope you're a patient woman, Carla. It'll take 17 simyears before Paloma ages to adult and with the speed I'm playing it'll probably take several years in real time ;)

  4. She's adorable!

Are you using Pooklet's skintones? I have a bunch of kids in technicolor (genetic), but not defaulted, and really love them. I was thinking yours were the same? Ether way, I really like yours, you inspire me to change out some of my defaults that I don't necessarily like, any tips?

  5. Maisie, I'm using Jessi's defaults now, both for skins and eyes. I used Pooklet's skins before but I just fell in love with Jessi's "What nature gave me" set when I saw it. I have a post about my default replacements, the link is in the sidebar.

  6. Maisie, in case you want the technicolor skins as defaults, they are now available. I put in a request at GOS and someone made them for me! Check in the Granted Wishes folder here: http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=18548.0

It's too bad that I decided on another set. I'm using Jessi's A Mixed Up Memory defaults and geneticized set, plus the Wearing Diamonds freckled set.

  7. She is so cute! She looks like she'd be stunning as an adult.

I love those skintones. They have a lot of great detail. I may have to grab the geneticized versions to mix into my game with my other skintones. :)

  8. Thanks :) I can't wait for Paloma (and a lot of other kids) to grow up.

I'm so happy with these skintones. I considered long and hard whether I should change my defaults but I'm glad I did.
