I like lying awake and waiting for Alexandra to wake up. I've quit the army so no more early mornings for me. I got a job in the Slacker career instead, I think it suits me quite well. Sometimes I think Lexie deserves a better man than me but I love her too much to leave her.

Anthony and I moved to the Lakeside Apartments in Exmoor. We had to take a small loan to be able to pay the deposit and get more furniture but I'm sure we can pay it back pretty soon. We live quite close to my parents' house now. I don't know if it's a good thing but time will tell.

Grace tells her father that she'll move to Wellington after she graduates from college. This doesn't surprise Kurt at all. He knows how ambitious Grace is and understands that she wants to live in the big city. Not that you could call Wellington a big city.
