New soul

Round 10: Autumn 2014

Greg Newman is 21 and Charlie and Janie Greene are 20.

The drama is slowly dying in the Greenleaves Hall. Janie spent some time at her parents' house during the summer so that she and Greg could both cool down a bit and maybe become friends again. The break seems to have done good for them since they're chatting like old friends again.

With my own two hands

Round 10: Autumn 2014

Tom Patterson is 21 and Dixie Greene is 20.

Tom and Dixie had a bit of a scare in the summer because Dixie thought she might be pregnant but it turned out to be a false positive. While they both want kids eventually, they just feel that the time isn't right for babies. They're both making relieved phone calls to their closest friends to let them know that things are back to normal.

Falling slowly

Round 10: Autumn 2014

Erin Fielding is 19 and Iona is 2.
(
Greg is 21.)

Narrated by Erin Fielding

I think Tom is trying to act as mediator for me and Greg. He's always saying how much Greg misses me and when they come over he urges Greg to say how pretty I look. I know he means well but he's getting on my nerves. I finally told him that he has to stop doing that.

Chasing pirates

Round 10: Summer 2014

Sam Cooper is 36, Grace is 31 and Madelyn and Ross are 3.

Narrated by Sam Cooper

We were all so shocked when we heard the news of Olivia's death. Grace took it pretty hard especially since she hasn't been in touch with her family very much during the past few years. The saddest thing is that our kids will never really get to know their nana Olivia because they only met her a couple of times and are probably too small to remember her.

Save it for a rainy day

Round 10: Spring 2014

Ryland and Jackie Whitfield are 63 and Dawn and Zach are 10.

Narrated by Ryland Whitfield

There's not a moment of silence in our house. The kids are always making some kind of noise. I guess in a few years it'll be slamming doors and playing bad music too loudly so I'm just happy to hear them play cops and robbers now.

Tom Patterson is 21 and Dixie Greene is 20.

Dixie and Tom have been visiting Dixie's parents over the weekend and they decide to stop by at Center Drip Coffee Shop for a late night espresso before heading back to Brixton. No one

Round 10: Spring 2014

Erin Fielding is 19 and Iona is 2.
(Greg is 21.)

Narrated by Erin Fielding.

Here we are, Iona and I, in our new home. We rented this family housing unit which is on a quieter area of the campus. The university gives an extra §1.000 to students with kids so that they can afford to rent a house. You have to pay it back when you graduate but it's still a nice addition.

We're trying to sit down for a meal together at least once a day. It's easier during the weekend when we're all home. For some reason Liam hates to be in the high chair so he doesn't join us. He prefers to drink his bottle of formula sitting on the floor so he can get back to playing with blocks or drawing on the activity table.

I saw dad checking the real estate agency's website one day. He noticed me and asked me how I'd feel if we moved. I said I don't really care since I'll be moving out soon anyway. I already know I probably won't be going to college since mom and dad can't afford to pay for my tuitions. It's not like I have big career plans but I still would've loved to get a proper education.

The school has been modified a bit. The pre-schoolers now have their own class on the second floor. Patsy wants to start the semester easy so she lets the kids play on the activity table before they tackle the gradework books.
