I'm finally old enough to work at the restaurant. I worked there during the summer holiday and now I go there on saturdays. I had to start from the bottom so at first I just washed the dishes and cleaned tables but now I'm allowed to serve the customers as well.

The school has bought some digital cameras and Quinn's class is the first to try them out. Ethan and Frieda get to work right away while Emily gets some advice from Quinn.

Danny was put on academic probation last year because he got such poor grades on all his exams. He was already considering dropping out and getting a job but I suggested that maybe he should consider changing his major instead. I've never really understood why he chose art history in the first place. He's much more interested in commercial art and has been talking about wanting a career in graphic design after graduation.

My parents bought me a guitar for my 20th birthday. It was also a reward for completing my sophomore year with a 3.9 GPA. A couple of guys have a band on campus and they asked me to join them. I'm now the lead singer and guitarist. I changed my hairstyle to match my new rockstar lifestyle.

We've been talking about getting a pet ever since we moved into this house. Initially Sam wanted to get a German Shepherd because he has worked with them in the military but I thought a smaller dog would be better. He finally gave in and we bought a Miniature Schnauzer male called Oscar.

It didn't take long before Oscar charmed Sam. The kids absolutely adore him and sometimes Madelyn and Ross even start fighting because they both want to play with him the moment they come home from school.

Nyah has fewer students and more money this year so she's finally been able to complete the music room. She suggests that maybe they could start a school band and practice some songs. She's never seen the kids move so fast to follow her orders!

Living with the in-laws is actually pretty great. Patrick and Vicki are both retired and they're always willing to babysit. They also take care of most of the household chores which is a big plus for me.
