Last year my parents told me that I'd have to either get a job or start helping on the farm since I was already 15. I gladly chose working on the farm instead of trying to get a job elsewhere. I don't mind actually. I mean it's a lot of hard work but it's kind of cool to think that we grow food for our own family and probably at least like half the town as well. Dad and I usually go over some farm stuff during dinner so I know what I'm supposed to do after school the next day.

Brooke and Charlie were thrilled to find out that Brooke is pregnant after they had been trying for over a year and were already going through fertility tests to see if there was a problem. They've just come to the hospital for the first ultrasound.

It's a month before Paige Robinson's due date but she and her husband have come to the hospital due to Paige having contractions. Nurse Holt tries to assure Jack that there's nothing to worry about.

Paige Robinson's pregnancy was difficult at first but by the third trimester she's started feeling really well. She was put on maternity leave quite early on due to cramping and at first she was a bit lost with what to do with all the free time. Now she's learned to appreciate it because she gets to spend so much time with her kids Emma and Todd while husband Jack works in the garden.

The initial shock of the surprise pregnancy has worn off and Paige and Jack are excited about welcoming baby #3 into the world. Paige's pregnancy is showing so they've told their kids Todd and Emma who are very happy to get a little sister or brother in a few months.

I had to hire a new worker because the cashier I had at Farmer's Market wasn't so thrilled at working on the farm. I'm quite happy about the change though because Paula really seems to enjoy working here and that's always a plus. It's much nicer to work with someone who doesn't complain about getting dirt under their nails or having to stay outside all day. She comes by the farm two or three times a week. We always invite her inside for breakfast first before heading out to the greenhouse.

I've been trying to convince Jack for months that he needs to hire someone to help on the farm. I have a full-time job, Todd's too young and Frieda's getting ready for college. So many nights I go to bed, fall asleep and then wake up without him there. Then I go downstairs and see that he's fallen asleep on the sofa.

Frieda moved in to live with us last year and it hasn't gone as well as Kurt expected. He was thinking that his little girl is going to live with us but Frieda's not a little girl anymore. They mostly clash about school and her boyfriend. She's been getting quite poor grades lately and Kurt thinks it's all because of this boy.

Most of my stuff is already in cardboard boxes since I'll be moving in with dad and Tina in a few weeks. They're buying new furniture for me so I'm leaving almost everything behind, taking only my personal stuff. This room will be Emma's room when she grows up a bit.

Doctor Grace Cooper has a few busy months ahead of her. There's a real baby boom sweeping across Wellington and Grace is working as a full-time obstetrician at the moment. Patsy Greene has come for an ultrasound and Grace is happy to tell her and Camryn that their twins are growing well and there shouldn't be any problems ahead.

The kids are a bit puzzled as well. The twins don't remember their grandma because they were so little when she died and James wasn't even born then. They keep asking all kinds of questions about grandpa's new lady friend.

I would be lost without Paige. She does so much around the farm even though she has her own demanding career in the military. I don't know where she gets all that energy but it feels like she never gets tired. She comes home from work and a moment later she's working in the greenhouse or tending the orchard trees.
