Sudden change of lifeplans. Sim must quit their current job and choose a new career immediately. - This is quite annoying since this sim is already quite high in their career.
Viagra overdose! Flirt with the next walk by of the approriate sex for 8 times. - This will be fun!
You're feeling inspired and donate 10% of your personal net worth to charity. Maxmotives because you feel so good. - It's not going to be much since this sim is not exactly loaded. I'll have to see what I'll use it for.
Mostly fun ones, I think! The break-up one might be sad but it looks like you're thinking along the same lines as I would!

That's the good thing about the ROS-the sims can seperate for a while, and then return to each other.

Sounds like you have ideas on making the dumping work. I haven't had that land on a relationship I actually cared about.
