Lot tour: Exmoor Aqua Park

Summer 2022

Exmoor Aqua Park, built in the Spring 2022, is a tropical oasis for the city dwellers. Complete with two pools, hot tubs and a restaurant, it has become a real hit during the summer.

A top-down view of the lot.

The water park is decorated with just a hint of greenery to give it a tropical look.

The pool area is huge. There's plenty of room for everyone in the city to come and enjoy a warm summer's day. Parents don't have to worry about their children's safety, thanks to the lifeguard tower.

There's a big pool with deck chairs on the side and a smaller pool with a water slide for the kids.

If you don't feel like swimming then you can just relax in one of the hot tubs.

There are a couple of tables on the terrace for those who want to eat outside.

There are also a few vending machines for those who only want a small snack.

The ladies' locker room.

The toilets and showers. Men's room is decorated identically, only with different colors.

The greatest attraction of the restaurant is the huge aquarium, filled with tropical fish. There are benches in front of the aquarium so that people can sit down and enjoy the view.

Notes:
  • You already saw a few glimpses of this public pool in the previous update and I promised a proper tour so here it is.
  • In case you're wondering about the aquarium, it is simply a room with big windows. I used items from Windkeeper and Savage Sims.
  • I'm having some crashing problems again but I'm slowly trying to get the Fielding-Parker wedding done. Patience, my loves :)

I love the lifeguard tower, at first I was thinking it was just the children's play equipment, but it really looks amazing!

  3. I love this so much! I was really excited for this tour based on the pics in the last update and it's even better than what I could see then.

The lifeguard tower is such a great idea and I love that there's an aquarium at the pool. Too, too cool. I'm very jealous. Sullivan Aquatic Centre is looking very sad right now, lol!

  4. You know your pool has the feel of the tropical vacation lots from Sims 1. Makes me all nostalgic!

  5. Tanja, you're welcome to come to the Aqua Park any time. :)

I thought that the lifeguard tower added a nice touch, they're pretty common for public outdoor pools here.

    Thanks for looking. :)

Apple Valley, I'm glad you like it. It was probably one of the easiest lots to build because I had a clear vision in my head of what I wanted.

    Thanks for looking. :)

Carla, I'm glad I could exceed your expectations ;)

I wanted to try the aquarium because eventually I'm planning to build a lot for the oceanography career. I'm always jealous of your lots so it's nice to have it the other way around for a change, lol!

    Thanks for looking. :)

Riverdale Blogs, I don't even remember those Sims 1 lots anymore! But it's always nice to take a walk on the memory lane :)

    Thanks for looking. :)

  6. How gorgeous! I love the aquarium, very nice touch. As is the lifeguard tower! I never think about little details like that, but it gives the lots such realism
