What's going on with this blog

As you might have noticed, Wellington has been on hiatus for the whole year of 2017. I started a new job in January and it has taken a lot of time and energy to get the hang of it. I'm also studying Business Administration in an university of applied sciences which takes a lot of time and energy as well. Unfortunately all this means that sims have been put on the back burner of my life for now. Working in an office and then coming home and doing school work really doesn't make it very appealing to spend more time on a computer to play.

I've contemplated scratching this blog altogether but in the end I've decided to keep it here. I miss playing and I miss the sims community and I'm determined to come back once I actually have time. So what I'm trying to say is that this blog will stay here and eventually I intend to start updating again.

Lots of love,
Sari

Little update on what's going on

I don't know if anyone follows this blog anymore since it's been inactive for months but Wellington is still alive. I just haven't loaded my game for months because I've been so busy with a full-time job and my first semester as a uni student.

The good news is I'm almost done with my first semester (just one more course to finish, yay) and I don't have any courses scheduled for summer. This means I might actually have some time to play! I miss my sims so much but I feel that I've missed the sims community even more. Hopefully from now on I can schedule in a little simming even after my courses start in the autumn.

Coming back!

Sorry for being such a crappy blogger lately. Real life has been a pain in the you-know-what but I've finally managed to pull everything together and hope to have a proper update for you very very soon.

Lots of love xxx

Are we there yet?

... Almost.

I have a super-duper awesome new computer and have finished installing TS2. Now I just need to put in a few finishing touches (empty templates, CEP and such) and I should be ready to play. So hang on in there, updates are coming! May the force be with you.

A Very Merry Christmas to everyone!

While I'm still sans a gaming computer I wanted to take the time to wish each and everyone of you Happy Holidays!

Sorry, no picture this year because the weather's been awful and we don't even have much snow.

Update on the PC front: I ordered a new computer a couple of weeks ago but there's been a delay on the delivery so I haven't gotten it yet. The good news is that all my files are safe so I can continue Wellington right where I left it. Now it's just a matter of getting the computer and setting it up so I can play.

Hiatus

As you have probably noticed, I haven't updated in quite a while and have been pretty much missing from the whole sims community. This is nothing new - I've taken breaks from simming before and I always come back. And I promise I'm coming back this time too!

The story of Wellington will continue but it's going to take some time. My computer broke down about a week ago as I was getting ready to play and update again. I was kind of lucky when it turned out not to be a hard drive failure after all so most of my stuff can be recovered. I need to buy a new PC though and I'm not sure yet if I can afford to buy it now or some time later. I'll keep you posted when I know more.

A little update

I thought I'd post a little something to tell you what's going on since I haven't updated for a few weeks now.

As most of you know, my game has had some bad crashing issues for a long time. Lately it has become practically unplayable and getting updates done has been very difficult. The constant crashing has also made quite uninspiring to play. But fear not!

Wellington will hopefully be back to normal soon. I'm in the process of completely re-installing my game which I hope fixes at least some of the problems. I have a couple of updates that are almost done so hopefully I'll get them online next week. So please bear with me while I try to get my game together :)
