I've been kind of slacking my way through school for the past two years since I started high school but I try much harder now that I kind of know what I want to do when I grow up. I think I want to become an architect but I need good grades to get into uni. Dad's really happy that I want to follow in his footsteps and mom just happy that I'm interested in my homework for a change.

Happy Birthday, Summer 2021

Phoebe and Samuel Lind have come to the hospital for an ultrasound. Doctor Sandra Williams keeps looking at the screen and finally Phoebe asks if something's wrong.

"I don't know how we've missed this before but..." Dr Williams says and turns the screen so that Phoebe and Samuel can see it. There are definitely two fetuses on the screen. "You're having twins" she continues.

Phoebe and Samuel look at each other and burst into laughter. They explain to Dr Williams that they had been struggling to get pregnant and now they're having two babies! Dr Williams smiles and continues the examination, telling that everything looks good.

Denise and Ben already have 3 boys so they're hoping that this baby is a girl. They'll find out in the summer but they'll be happy either way.

Ben was very busy at work during summer because his boss Bobbie took some time off after her sister's death. She got back to work recently and said that she might as well have stayed away because Ben was doing such a good job. I'm seeing this as a sign that she's thinking of retirement which would make Ben the head of the architect office. Ben tells me that I'm just imagining but I know that he wouldn't mind being the boss.

Lilly and I have been dating for about two years now and I'm more than ready to take the next step. Unfortunately she seems quite happy just holding hands and watching tv together. I've brought up the subject of sex and she always says she's not ready but I've figured that maybe she'll give in if I keep trying. It feels like everyone else is doing it and I'm still a virgin.

Danny was put on academic probation last year because he got such poor grades on all his exams. He was already considering dropping out and getting a job but I suggested that maybe he should consider changing his major instead. I've never really understood why he chose art history in the first place. He's much more interested in commercial art and has been talking about wanting a career in graphic design after graduation.

I'm only working 3 days a week at the moment and Denise only works 2 days a week so that one of us is always at home with the kids. We'll probably start working full-time again next year when Liam starts school. This system is working for us and luckily both our bosses have agreed to this settlement.

We're trying to sit down for a meal together at least once a day. It's easier during the weekend when we're all home. For some reason Liam hates to be in the high chair so he doesn't join us. He prefers to drink his bottle of formula sitting on the floor so he can get back to playing with blocks or drawing on the activity table.

Ben and I have been working hard for promotions. I have been working as an intern in dad's administration ever since graduation and he just made me his campaign manager. Ben left the construction company and has just become an architect. We decided to celebrate by having dinner at Twilight Zone. Not the most romantic place but it's right across the street from our apartment.
