My parents are really supportive about my art but at the same time they're on my back about being more active and spending time outdoors. Painting just makes me so happy that I don't really want to do anything else on my free time. But it's not like I bury myself in my room all the time. I do spend time with my family, we're just interested in different things.

We had to renovate the pre-school class room to make room for all our new pre-schoolers. We have eight this year! Luckily Patsy has a lot of experience so she can handle the situation just fine. The kids have gotten used to school by now and she's even able to get them to sit down to do some work from time to time.

We finally gave in and bought a new dog. Poppy's a labrador and she's already become a part of our family. The kids have loved spending time with her and I have to say I'm quite fond of her too.

It's always so exciting for new students to start school work and I just love to see those little faces light up when they see the class room. This year I have 3 students but next year there will be eight. I'm already dreading the idea of a class full of kids!

Our dog Nero died of old age a few weeks ago. She was awesome with the kids and they're really missing her. Mia especially has been begging us to buy a new dog.

I've taken the habit of meeting with Quinn and Patsy once a week in my teeny tiny office so we can discuss what's going on in the school. It's also refreshing to hear their ideas about how to develop the school.

Patsy and Camryn had their twins just a few weeks ago so it has taken some getting used to from all of us. It's been so long since there were babies in our house!

Hanna and Jared are real sweeties though and they both have Patsy's red hair and green eyes. The only thing we know about the donor is that he has blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin like Camryn. We'll have to wait some time before we can say who the babies look like. But then again I've always thought that Mia looks like Patsy and Camryn even though she's not biologically theirs.

Happy Birthday, Winter 2021

Denise and Ben already have 3 boys so they're hoping that this baby is a girl. They'll find out in the summer but they'll be happy either way.

Happy Birthday, Autumn 2020

Doctor Grace Cooper has a few busy months ahead of her. There's a real baby boom sweeping across Wellington and Grace is working as a full-time obstetrician at the moment. Patsy Greene has come for an ultrasound and Grace is happy to tell her and Camryn that their twins are growing well and there shouldn't be any problems ahead.

Mia Greene is really excited that she's going to be a big sister in the Winter. She's even more excited when Patsy, or Mama as Mia calls her, tells her that there are two new babies on the way!

Summer is getting close and the kids are getting more and more restless. Rianna finds it hard to get them to work at all. She's teaching Grades 1-3 this year and has the largest group with 8 kids and she's completely knackered every day when the classes are over.

Dawn Whitfield is trying to be like any teenaged girl but it's getting harder now that her pregnancy is starting to show. She's on her second trimester now and is slowly accepting the fact that her life is changing dramatically.

Patsy and I have been talking a lot lately about having another child. Mia is already 5 and we feel we're all ready for a new addition to our family. Adopting Mia was a great experience so we wouldn't mind doing it again. We've also talked about other options, mainly artificial insemination. Patsy has always wanted to get pregnant so she would be the one carrying the child.

The school has bought some digital cameras and Quinn's class is the first to try them out. Ethan and Frieda get to work right away while Emily gets some advice from Quinn.

Mia has really become the apple of our eyes. She's such a sweet girl and the moment I saw her I knew in my heart that she's my child.

The school has gone through some renovations during the summer. There are new desks for all students, a new computer class room and more instruments for the music class room. Patsy teaches all kids from preschool to grade 2 and has 5 students this year. The girls are already waiting for the class to begin so Patsy tells them what to expect this year. The boys on the other hand have to be dragged to the class, they would much rather stay outside because it's so warm and sunny.

Will moved in to live with us a few months ago. This has been the happiest time of my life. It's so great to finally spend more time together. I think mom and dad are also quite happy that one of their kids will continue living in the mansion and renovating it.

Patsy has one new student in her class this semester as Riley Cooper starts pre-school. The kids seem quite enthusiastic about school after their summer vacation so Patsy puts them straight to work.

Autumn 2015 birthdays

Grace Cooper is expecting her third child with husband Sam. The baby is due in winter 2016 so Grace and Sam are preparing the nursery for the newcomer.
