As you have probably noticed, I haven't updated in quite a while and have been pretty much missing from the whole sims community. This is nothing new - I've taken breaks from simming before and I always come back. And I promise I'm coming back this time too!
The story of Wellington will continue but it's going to take some time. My computer broke down about a week ago as I was getting ready to play and update again. I was kind of lucky when it turned out not to be a hard drive failure after all so most of my stuff can be recovered. I need to buy a new PC though and I'm not sure yet if I can afford to buy it now or some time later. I'll keep you posted when I know more.
I'm so glad it wasn't your hard drive! At least you know that when you do get up and running again, Wellington should be safe. :)

ReplyDeleteGood to know most of your stuff is still there! Every time I hear about someone having computer trouble, I am even more determined than ever to keep making backups of my megahood. After five years of playing, I'd really hate to lose it.

ReplyDeleteI'm getting my external HD back tomorrow so I'll know exactly what files are safe. I'm still uncertain whether I can buy a new computer or not.
