Patsy and I live in the same dorm with her cousin Thomas. He's a few years older but he starts college at the same time with us. They're constantly punching each other which seems a bit weird for me. I don't have any siblings or cousins so I'm not really used to that kind of stuff.

If someone had told me 20 years ago that I would be happy being married with kids I would have thought they were completely insane. But I am happy beyond my wildest dreams. Seeing Emily's face in the morning is the best thing.

I'm so glad I forgave Jackie for having an affair. In fact I think it has only made our relationship stronger. We love to lie in bed in the morning and just enjoy each other's company.

More problems

Apparently the weirdness with Alexandra and Carlo was just the beginning. The hood has gone completely bonkers and I haven't been able to fix it even though I've tried every possible method I can think of.

5 sims in 3 separate households have become invisible (Erin & Regan Fielding, Ben Cooper and Jack & Olivia Robinson). Their icons are still in the UI with other family members but you can't direct them to do anything and the game crashes if I try ie. change their appearance via SimBlender. I moved the uni graduates into those households so maybe they are the ones causing the problems although they seem to be fine. But then again one household (Sam Cooper & Grace Robinson) has been unaffected by this "plague" so I don't really know what's causing it. I don't feel like killing off 5 sims especially since I don't know if that'll fix the problem.

It looks like Wellington has become a BFBVFS and this might very well be the end :(

edit: Clearly I'm not the sharpest pen in the box... I remembered I made a backup of my wh9ole TS2 folder before I re-installed my game on Saturday. I used the backup, played the girls through college and this time everything turned out fine. I'm back in business!!!

I hadn't met Grace before we all moved to Brixton Academy. She seems really nice though.

I'm back!

I got my computer back and it's brilliant. Pretty much everything is new: motherboard, processor, video card, 3 GB's of RAM. I've been wanting to upgrade my PC and now I did it, thanks to the old motherboard that got broken.

The best news is that all my stuff is safe so I can continue to play Wellington! I only have 4 hours of work tomorrow and then my summer vacation starts YAY! The weather has been quite hot and we've been boiling at work because there's no air conditioning. But of course the forecast tells that it'll get colder right when our vacation starts! Anyway, I'm going to get a tattoo tomorrow afternoon so I'll probably start up my game on Saturday or Sunday.

So glad to be back :)
